The Cardinals inside presence led the way, as the Louisville outscored the Gamecocks by 24 on second chance points on 16 offensive rebounds. U of L finished with 44 points in the paint, while limiting Jacksonville State to just 14 points inside.
Deng Adel and Quentin Snider both scored 16 points, while Ray Spalding added 11 points in the win. Donovan Mitchell finished with nine points and a career-high 10 rebounds. Snider and Mitchell both handed out five assists.
Louisville will face Michigan on Sunday with a trip to the Sweet 16 on the line.
