Cards offer 4-star QB

Four-star quarterback Adrian Martinez has been committed to California since last November but has been looking at other schools since the coaching change with the Bears. Now, he's landed an offer from the University of Louisville.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Martinez has over two dozen scholarship offers.

Among the other schools that have recently offered Martinez are Alabama, Ole Miss and Oregon. He's ranked as the No. 21 quarterback in the country.

Pennsylvania DT will visit U of L again

Clairton, Pa., Thomas Jefferson High School defensive tackle Devin Danielson will make another visit to U of L on Friday.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Danielson was offered by the Cardinals last month and then made a trip to U of L for his Junior Day. Danielson's offer sheet is now in double digits, including U of L, Pittsburgh, UCLA, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Rutgers, Syracuse, Iowa State, Virginia and Toledo. Danielson helped Thomas Jefferson to the 4-A WPIAL championship last season.

Cards offer 3-star Texas WR

Allen, Tx., High School Carson Schleker is one of the top 100 players in the Midlands and now has an offer from the Cardinals.

The 5-foot-8, 175-pound Schleker now has more than 20 scholarship offers, including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa State and others.

The speedy Schleker is ranked as the No. 87 wide receiver in the country and the No. 89 player overall in the Midlands.

Mississippi WR Webb lands offer from Cards

Oxford, Miss., wide receiver Jaquan Webb is one of the fastest prospects in the South and on Thursday was offered by Louisville.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Webb ran a 7.4 in the 60-meter race in the nationals as a sophomore and he earned a spot at the Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships that was held last July in California. The defending 200-meter champion (21.36) in the state of Mississippi has run a person best 10.62 in the 100-meter race as well.

On the football field, Webb is ranked as the No. 157 wide receiver in the country but is a dynamic prospect.

Webb has offers from Alabama, Mississippi, Middle Tennessee, Memphis, Southern Miss and others.

Ohio lineman set to make a visit

One of the more underrated prospects in the state of Ohio - Beaver, Ohio, Eastern High offensive tackle Dalton Tomlison - is expected to make a visit to U of L on Friday.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Tomlinson has offers from Iowa State, Cornall, Central Florida and Bowling Green and has also made visits to West Virginia and Michigan State and has also heard from Cincinnati and others.

2019 corner makes U of L visit

Louisville hosted several visitors on Tuesday at practice, including Saline, Mich., cornerback M.J. Griffin.

The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Griffin already holds offers from Indiana, Iowa State and Central Michigan.
