The University of Louisville football staff has a need for defensive tackles in the Class of 2018.
And one of the best from Pennsylvania was on campus again this weekend.
Clairton, Pa., Thomas Jefferson High School defensive tackle Devin Danielson was on campus for U of L's Junior Day last month and was back again this weekend. He was at the Cardinals practice on Friday and attended the scrimmage on Saturday morning.
"I had a great time this weekend," Danielson said. "I really like everything about Louisville."
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Danielson was offered by the Cardinals last month and has had a chance to get to know some of the U of L staff. He said he might try to make a return for camp this summer.
Danielson's offer sheet is now in double digits, including U of L, Pittsburgh, UCLA, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Rutgers, Syracuse, Iowa State, Virginia and Toledo. Danielson helped Thomas Jefferson to the 4-A WPIAL championship last season.
He ranks as the No. 2 defensive tackle in Pennsylvania and the No. 65 prospect in the country at his position.
