A number of in-state prospects will be at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on Saturday afternoon

At least a dozen prospects from across the Bluegrass State will visit Louisville for its Spring Game on Saturday

At least a dozen of the top prospects from across the Bluegrass State are expected to be in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium for the Cardinals annual Red-White Spring Game on Saturday afternoon.

Among that group, five currently hold scholarship offers from the Cardinals program.

Here's a look at some of those that will be in attendance:

St. X's Wyatt Smock is the top-rated offensive guard in the Bluegrass State and checks in at No. 17 nationally.  A rising three-star prospect, the 6-foot-4, 290-pound Smock holds scholarship offers from Louisville, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Iowa State and Arkansas.

Christian County safety Cory Trice continues to remain on the Louisville radar.  The 6-foot-2 defensive back holds early offers from Purdue, Southern Illinois and others, while Western Kentucky and Kentucky are among the others keeping close tabs on him.  He totaled four interceptions and two fumble recoveries last fall.

The state's top-rated offensive tackle is also expected to take in the Cardinals spring game.  Will Bramel of Boyle County is the nation's No. 64 prospect at his position and holds scholarship offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Eastern Kentucky, Marshall, Purdue and South Alabama.  In addition to Louisville, Bramel is also drawing interest from Western Kentucky, Kentucky and multiple programs across the region.

Doss athlete Terez Traynor is among the state's top prospects, holding scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Purdue, Western Kentucky and others.  As a junior, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound athlete was his team's second-leading rusher and receiver, combining for 804 yards and 11 touchdowns.

2019 offensive tackle Tanner Bowles holds early scholarship offers from both Louisville and Kentucky.  The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Glasgow product will be among the nation's most sought-after prospects at his position before finishing his prep career.

Another high-priority target in the 2019 class is Doss defensive end Shawnkel Knight-Goff.  The 6-foot-4, 210-pound prospect holds an offer from the Cardinals, along with Cincinnati, Kentucky and Purdue.  As a sophomore he had 37 tackles and also rushed for one TD and caught a TD in limited time on offense.

Chrsitian Academy quarterback Austin Carr is poised to draw attention from numerous schools during the coming months.  The 2019 prospect guided CAL to the 2A state title last fall, throwing for 1,610 yards and 21 touchdowns, while also rushing for an additional four scores.

Another highly-sought after 2019 in-state prospect is Moore defensive end J.J. Weaver.  The 6-foot-6, 240-pound end holds an early offer from Louisville and is drawing interest from Florida State and Notre Dame.  He recorded 67 stops, including 43 solo, last fall.

Jacob Lacey has long been one of Louisville's priority targets in the 2019 class.  The Cardinals were among the first to offer the South Warren defensive tackle, who has since collected similar from Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Michigan State, Penn State and Purdue.  The Cardinals are considered among the favorites for the all-state performer.

Milton Wright is potentially the top in-state wide receiver in the 2019 class and possesses an offer from the Cardinals.  The Christian Academy product hauled in 46 receptions for 832 yards and 17 touchdowns for the 2A state champions.  He also had 26 rush attempts for 190 yards and a touchdown.  Also a standout at defensive back, Wright snagged five interceptions, returning three for a touchdown.
