The University of Louisville is expected to have plenty of talented prospects on campus Saturday for the Spring football game.
The Cardinals list of more than 50 prospects is expected to include at least three members of the updated Scout300.
Four-star linebacker Xavier Peters from Lakota, Ohio, West, is the No. 1 linebacker in the Midwest and has more than two dozen offers, including Alabama, LSU, Michigan State, Oklahoma and others.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Peters is ranked as the No. 248 prospect in the country.
Manchester, Tenn., Coffee County athlete Alontae Taylor, who is a Tennessee commitment, is also expected on campus. The four-star prospect is the No. 5 athlete in the South and the No. 286 prospect in the country.
D.J. Johnson is one of the top prospects in the state of Indiana and is also expected to make the trip down to U of L. The 6-foot-1, 160-pound Johnson attends Indianapolis North Central and is the No. 289 prospect in the country.
Johnson has picked up offers from U of L, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Purdue, Cincinnati, Ball State, Bowling Green, Miami, Ohio, Northern Illinois, Toledo and Western Michigan. He had 34 tackles and three tackles for a loss as a junior.
