Missouri All-State performer Arther Green, who lines up at both wide receiver and safety for Chesterfield Parkway Central, made the short trip east to Louisville over the weekend to attend the Cardinals annual spring game.
"I really enjoyed it," he told Cardinal Authority. "I liked seeing all the players and just the whole atmosphere was great. I had fun talking to some of the coaches and I like the facility's and what they have planed for the future."
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound prospect, who also stars on the hardwood for Parkway Central, has yet to pick up a scholarship offer from Louisville, but anticipates the Cardinals staff remaining in contact and eventually making their way to watch him play in person.
"They just talk to me about my film and how they liked it," he said. "They would like to see me play in person. They really just wanted to get to know me better and see what my plans were for this summer."
He does hold an early offer from Murray State and is drawing interest from Iowa, Iowa State, Memphis, Missouri, Missouri State, Northern Illinois and others.
"I'm planning on going to Mizzou camps and I'm going to Missouri state junior day," he said, adding that "I plan on making my way up to Iowa."
