Louisville offers St. Louis '19 star
The University of Louisville football staff is trying to be more active in the Midwest.
The Cardinals offered one of the top 2019 athletes from St. Louis recently, sending an offer to Trinity Catholic athlete Isaiah Williams. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound Williams now has 35 total offers.
Among the other schools that have offered include Oregon, Michigan, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Michigan State, Miami and Nebraska.
In 13 games as a sophomore, Williams played quarterback and completed 133 of 231 passes for 2,565 yards, 29 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He ran the ball 109 times for 896 yards and 18 scores. On the defensive end, he had three interceptions.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Washington already has a dozen offers, including Missouri, Indiana and Illinois. Cooper is 6-foot-2, 190 and has 15 offers, including Notre Dame and Oklahoma.
Cards send offer to Virginia Tech commit
Jacksonville, Fla., Trinity Christian safety Chamarri Conner has been committed to Virginia Tech since November but last week was offered by the Cardinals after a visit from assistant Kolby Smith.
The 6-foot, 182-pound Conner picked the Hokies over more than 20 offers, including Michigan, North Carolina, North Carolina State and South Carolina among others.
Nashville LB gets a Louisville offer
Louisville keeps making offers in the Nashville area with an offer to Christ Presbyterian linebacker Kane Patterson.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Patterson also has offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Memphis and Texas-San Antonio.
U of L third offer for Maryland WR
The Cardinals were the third offer on the board for Olney, Md., Good Counsel wide receiver Cam Hart.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound also has offers from Virginia and Kentucky. He was offered last weekend by the Cardinals and wide receiver coach Lonnie Galloway.
U of L also offered his teammate Kevan Bowen, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound offensive lineman.
