A member of the 2015 Scout 300, former Oklahoma cornerback P.J. Mbanasor has committed to Louisville.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back was rated as the nation's No. 103 prospect as a senior at Pflugerville (Tex.) Hendrickson High School, when he recorded 47 tackles, one interception, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and two defensive touchdowns.
Mbanasor, who announced his intentions to transfer from the Sooners program nearly two weeks ago, played in 10 games, starting two, as a true freshman. He redshirted the 2016 season, which following a transfer year, will give him two years of remaining eligibility.
Prior to committing to Oklahoma's 2015 recruiting class, Mbanasor also considered scholarship offers from Florida, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas and a host of others.
A former four-star athlete, he was rated as the No.20 overall prospect in the state of Texas as a senior and the nation's No.13 cornerback prospect.
He is expected to arrive in time for fall camp and will be eligible to play in 2018.
