A look at some new offers extended by the University of Louisville football staff recently.

Cards offer LB who attended Junior Day

Just over a month after he visited Louisville for Junior Day, Gurley, Ala., Madison County High School linebacker Matthew Flint reports an offer from the Cardinals. He's being recruited by defensive line coach L.D. Scott.

The 6-foot, 210-pound Flint said he saw something he "really liked a lot" about Louisville when he visited. He had over a 1,000 yards of offense and a 100 tackles for Madison Central this past season.

He holds offers from Auburn, Memphis, Arkansas State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Alabama, UAB and Western Kentucky.


U of L the first Power 5 offer for QB

Louisville became the first Power Five school to offer North Palm Beach, Fla., The Benjamin School quarterback Jordan Travis, who has around 10 smaller school offers.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Travis had a huge junior season for the Bucs, throwing for 2,017 yards and 21 touchdowns and rushing for 384 yards and 11 more TDs.

His other offers include Southern Mississippi, Georgia State, Marshall and Appalachian State.


Cards offer Alabama athlete

Gurley, Ala., Madison County athlete Tae Provens tweeted that he's landed an offer from Louisville.

The 6-foot, 185-pound Provens has over 15 offers, including Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi, Duke, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State and Memphis among others.

Provens plays running back at Madison County. He was named Class 4-A first-team All-State as a junior.


'19 Alabama RB gets an offer

Montgomery, Ala., St. James School running back Tony Amerson has landed an offer from Louisville.

The running back from the Class of 2019 also has offers from Illinois, Toledo, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

The 5-foot-11, 212 pound Amerson ran for just under 1,100 yards and scored eight touchdowns last season.
