The University of Louisville football staff is searching for a quarterback in the Class of 2018.
The staff has offered several prospects, including Monday night an offer to Chandler, Ariz., Hamilton High School three-star rising quarterback Tyler Shough.
Scout.com analyst Blair Angulo said last week that "it's difficult to find a prospect whose stock has soared more in recent weeks." He recently visited Missouri and was offered by Alabama.
The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Shough said has has 20 total offers. He also has offers from South Carolina and Michigan among others.
"I am supposed to talk to coach (Bobby) Petrino (on Tuesday)," Shough said. "I know that he develops quarterbacks really well and they are an elite program out there."
Shough completed 62 percent of his pass attempts for 2,079 yards and 27 touchdowns in 12 games as a junior last season.
