Louisville baseball rallied from four down to beat Clemson 6-4 and claim the outright ACC Atlantic Division title

The University of Louisville baseball team rallied from four runs down on Saturday to claim a 6-4 victory over host Clemson and claim the outright ACC Atlantic Division title.

The Cardinals are now 45-6 on the season, including 14 straight, and 22-4 in the ACC. U of L has a six=game lead on Clemson and Wake Forest with just four ACC games left in the season.

Louisville has a magic number of three to win the ACC title outright.

Junior catcher Colby Fitch had two home runs and was 4-for-5 at the plate, while Devin Mann smashed a two-run home run in the sixth and Drew Ellis had a two-run homer in the eighth to put the Cardinals ahead.

All three players had two RBIs in the game for the Cardinals, who had 13 hits.

Junior Kade McClure ran is his record to 7-1 with seven innings of work. He allowed seven hits and four runs, while Adam Wolf worked the final two innings and picked up his first save.

U of L has won eight conference titles in nine years and the Cardinals have now won the ACC title all three years in the league.

The series finale is tomorrow at noon.
