Louisville had two visitors on campus this week, but the Cardinals will pass on both and the roster will remain the same.

The University of Louisville basketball staff had a pair of visitors on campus this week.

Wright State transfer guard Mark Alstork visited the campus on Wednesday, while Tunisian wing Wassef Methnani arrived on Tuesday night and stayed through Wednesday evening on his visit.

But a source close to the program tells Cardinal Authority that the U of L staff is "passing" on both prospects and the roster will remain what it is right now for next season.

The Cardinals are still waiting on a final decision from sophomore Deng Adel, who is working out for NBA teams. He has until May 24 to make his decision on if he'll return but a source says the staff is very confident that Adel will be back.

Louisville coach Rick Pitino said last week in an interview on WHAS-840 when CA Publisher Jody Demling asked him the question about his roster that he didn't expect to add anyone if Adel did return.

"We've got enough players to compete," Pitino said. "I'm very bullish on the basketball team because we're very, very athletic."

Adel will play at the shooting guard position, which means rising sophomore V.J. King and Dwayne Sutton, who had been a walk on but was recently put on scholarship, would play the small forward position.

"We've got a really nice team coming back," Pitino said. "It's not a surprise that (Mitchell) left, but I'm not concerned about it. I would be really concerned about it if our frontcourt was weak. But we'll be a top-20 team again."
