Frankfort, Ky., Western Hills High School speedy wide receiver Wandale Robinson has been opening some eyes lately on the recruiting trail.
The 5-foot-9, 175-pound slot/receiver with lightning quick feet and big play ability landed his first scholarship offer last week after he spent time at camp in Charlottesville, Va., from the University of Virginia.
On Friday, Robinson - one of the many elite 2019 prospects in the state - was impressive at Louisville camp.
"I liked it a lot and I feel like I did well," Robinson said. "I'm confident an offer is coming soon."
Robinson, who is also being recruited for baseball by the U of L staff, will also camp at Cincinnati, Tennessee, Illinois, Ohio State, Western Kentucky and Kentucky at some point this summer.
As a sophomore, Robinson rushed for 2,014 yards and 28 touchdowns, caught 22 passes for 434 yards and three touchdowns and scored once on a kick return. He visited U of L in March for a Junior Day and also for a baseball game.
Cardinal Authority will keep you posted on his recruitment.
