The Cardinals are going back to Omaha for the fourth time in 11 years under head coach Dan McDonnell after beating Kentucky 6-2 on Saturday to clinch the Super Regional and a trip to the World Series.

U of L set a new school record with 52 wins on the season and it was the 36th NCAA Tournament win under McDonnell. The program hadn't won an NCAA game prior to his arrival.

In this one, the Cardinals got contributions from a number of players.
