Profile: Jordan Travis

Position: Quarterback

Location: North Palm Beach, Fla., The Benjamin School

Height: 6-1

Weight: 185

Recruiting: Louisville was the first Power Five offer for Travis and his recruitment was just starting to pick up. He picked Louisville over North Carolina, Georgia, South Florida and Central Florida among others. Florida and Florida State have recently called to try and get involved, but after his visits to U of L and North Carolina last week Travis opted to shut down his recruitment.

The Scouting report: Travis is a star on the rise. He's ranked as the No. 51 QB in the country and should keep moving up the rankings. He's a three-star now with a shot to get more stars down the road. He plays for a smaller school and is a super talented dual-threat QB.

Overall analysis: U of L coach Bobby Petrino and his staff honed in on a QB and it was Travis. He's the next in line of QB commits the staff is excited to get on campus. Being from Palm Beach County, Travis said Lamar Jackson and his success played a large part in his recruitment. In his first year at The Benjamin School, Travis dominated the small-school Southeastern Football Conference, throwing for 2,017 yards and 21 touchdowns, and rushing for 384 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was named conference Player of the Year.
