Profile: Dejmi Dumervil

Position: Defensive lineman

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Fla., St. Thomas Aquinas

Height: 6-5

Weight: 365

Recruiting: Dumervil had more than 20 scholarship offers from schools all over the country. He picked the Cardinals over other top schools - Michigan, Illinois, Maryland, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Oregon, Oregon State and Cincinnati.

The Scouting report: Dumervil could play on both sides of the ball and right now is ranked as an offensive lineman by Scout.com, but he'll play on defense to start at U of L and follow in the footsteps of his uncle - Elvis Dumervil. The younger Dumervil not only has the bloodlines, but he's solid in the middle on the defense. He can rush the passer and is really good at run stopping.

Overall analysis: A huge pickup not only because of his last name - Dumervil - but because he attends one of the schools with a ton of talent in Fort Lauderdale. Elvis Dumervil was one of the greatest players in school history. The Cardinals are recruiting several other players from St. Thomas Aquinas, including his close friend Nik Bonitto.
