A few new offers are out from the University of Louisville football staff; here's an update on a couple of prospects.

Boone 'very excited' about U of L offer

Daytona Beach, Fla., Mainland three-star offensive guard Adonis Boone now has two dozen scholarship offers and added one from the University of Louisville football staff on Sunday.

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound Boone is the No. 81 ranked prospect at his position in the '18 class.

"That offer from Louisville felt great to receive," Boone said. "I was rooting for Louisville last season.

"I'm excited about Louisville."

Boone also has offers from South Florida, Western Kentucky, Southern Mississippi, Marshall, Memphis, Toledo, Kansas and others.

Cards the 12th offer for Florida CB

Pompano Beach, Fla., Blanche Ely cornerback Jamareeye Brown picked up his 12th offer from the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-2, 165-pound Brown also has offers from South Carolina, Oregon, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh and Kentucky among others. He's the No. 122 prospect at his position in the '18 class.

North Carolina WR gets a Louisville offer

Holly Springs, N.C., wide receiver Bryce Wheaton announced on Monday night via Twitter that Louisville was his latest offer.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Wheaton now has double digit offers and is expected to be on campus next week. He is also going to visit Florida State later this week.

Among the other schools involved are: Missouri, West Virginia, East Carolina and Syracuse.

Ohio tight end grabs U of L offer

Lima, Ohio, tight end Keaton Upshaw picked up offer No. 13 from Louisville on Monday.

The 6-foot-6, 225-pound Upshaw had been set to make an announcement on June 2 but changed his plans and didn't make a commitment.

He had listed Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Purdue, West Virginia and Toledo before that and has since added U of L and Kentucky offers.

Upshaw is the No. 7 ranked tight end in the Midwest.
