The University of Louisville basketball staff has been rolling on the recruiting front.
The Cardinals signed one of the best classes during the Rick Pitino-era in the Class of 2017 and already have two big-time prospects committed to the '18 class. The staff is in on a few other high-profile prospects.
On Monday, two elite prospects will be visiting campus.
High Point, N.C., Wesleyan Christian center Ian Steere is one of the top 100 prospects in the Class of 2018 and is expected to be on campus, while Goldsboro, N.C., Wayne Country Day 2019 shooting guard Jamal King is also expected to visit.
The 6-foot-9, 240-pound Steere is ranked as the No. 76 prospects in the '18 class and is the No. 9 center.
Steere already has offers from Kansas, Clemson, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Maryland, Texas Tech, Tennessee, Florida State, UConn, Pitt, and Creighton, while recently taking a visit to North Carolina State.
He's playing post this spring on the Under Armour Association for Team Charlotte, and is averaging 9.1 points and 5.3 rebounds a game.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound King is also getting recruited by N.C. State and made a visit to Connecticut last fall. As a sophomore, King averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and two steals.
King hit 53 percent from the field, including 42 percent from three-point range.
