ITV Player of the Game: Robert McCune

Linebacker Robert McCune has been named this week's ITV Player of the Game for his efforts in the 35-28 double-overtime loss at South Florida.

Linebacker Robert 'The Hammer' McCune has been named ITV's Player of the Game for his outstanding effort in the 35-28 double-overtime loss at South Florida this past Saturday.

McCune recorded an amazing 18 total tackles in the contest, 10 of which were solo stops. Among his tackles were two stops for a loss, including a sack. His 18 tackles are the most for a Cardinal defender since Terry Rice-Lockett recorded 22 against Illinois in 1997.

McCune now has 66 total tackles on the season and is now on pace to record the most total tackles in a season since Mark Sander accounted for 167 in 1988.

As we do every week, you can submit questions to the ITV Player of the Game via the ITV message boards or send them directly to me by email. Robert McCune's answers will then be posted on the home page later this week.
