News & Notes

  • Updated Depth Chart - Freshman running back Kolby Smith, who is coming off his most impressive outing of the season, has moved up both the running back and fullback position charts. Michael Bush has played quarterback, receiver and tailback on offense, as well as punt protector on special teams, is now listed on the 2-deep on kickoff returns. • While the weather in Louisville has been rather pleasant over the past week, the team worked inside Papa John's Cardinal Stadium late Tuesday afternoon under more seasonal conditions. With the temperature dropping into the 50's, a frequent drizzle and constant strong winds, the team is getting a perfect preview of what they could experience on Friday evening. The temperature at kickoff could be near 50 degrees, with the possibility of rain.
  • It's becoming commonplace to see NFL scouts visiting the Cardinals practices. Today's visitor was from the Indianapolis Colts.
