Michael Hobbs visited the Louisville football program in early August and the talented running back is planning on making a return trip before the end of the season.
Having already made one unofficial visit to Louisville
in early August, running back Michael Hobbs
and his family are in the process of scheduling another trip back to the River City to visit the Cardinal football program.
ITV caught up with Michael's mother recently and was informed that they will most likely make it back to Louisville for the last home game of the season against Houston.
"Coach Whitt has asked us to come up for a game and we are trying to decide when to do it," explained Mrs. Hobbs. "We will most likely come on November 22nd."
One of the most productive backs in Alabama as a junior, Michael, who plays for Straughn High School in Andalusia, is once again compiling some impressive rushing numbers. Through seven games, the 5'10, 190-pound running back has rushed 115 times for 820 yards and five touchdowns. His 7.1 yards per carry coupled with his 26.8 yards per catch average provide a glimpse of his ability to escape opposing defenders.
In addition to Louisville, Hobbs is receiving interest from Kansas, Middle Tennessee State, Southern Miss, Wyoming and West Virginia.
"West Virginia will be here this weekend to watch Michael play," said Mrs. Hobbs.
Michael's mother also informed ITV that Louisville keeps frequent contact with her son. "He receives a couple cards each week and Coach Whitt calls him every week."
