As Inside The Ville reported Monday but could not confirm, Sebastian Telfair has signed and returned his letter of intent to play at Louisville. Rick Pitino also said on Wednesday that center Nouha Diakite is eligible and will start at center this Sunday.
As first reported by Inside The Ville Monday on both the website and the radio program, Sebastian Telfair
has signed and returned his national letter of intent to play basketball at U of L next fall.
According to WAVE 3's Kent Taylor, Otis Telfair, Sebastian's father's, confirmed Wednesday that the letter had been signed and returned to U of L.
U of L's Rick Pitino will hold a press conference this Friday at 2:00 to announce the signings of Telfair, 6'7 Donta Smith, 6'9 Brian Johnson, 6'5 Lorenzo Wade and 6'10 Terrance Farley.
The recruiting class is ranked number three in the nation by TheInsiders.com.
Pitino also said on Wednesday that 6'9 Nouha Diakite's eligibility has been restored and that he'll be the starting center in Sunday's exhibition against the Asheville Altitude.
