16 seniors will be playing their final regular season contest on Friday as the Cardinals face rival Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium.

Rod Day (ITV)
Linebacker Rod Day became a full-time starter his junior season and finished the year as the teams second leading tackler. As a senior he is third on the team with 78 tackles. Made his first start as a sophomore against East Carolina. He earned 2nd Team All-Conference USA honors his junior year. He committed to Louisville after being named 1st Team All-Alabama 5A.

Ronnie Ghent (ITV)
Three-time first team All-Conference USA selection who is bidding to become the first league player to earn first team all-conference honors in four consecutive seasons. Has been named 2nd Team All-American by Athlon Magazine. He is currently the teams second leading receiver and has pulled in one reception in 36 consecutive games.

(Ormond Beach, FL)

Victor Glenn (ITV)
Receiver that has played in 31 games at Louisville. He has 15 career receptions for 175 yards. As a junior he caught a pair of passes for a season-high 26 yards against Marshall in the GMAC Bowl. He was a two-time honorable mention all-state performer at Seabreeze High.



(Miami, FL)

James Greene (ITV)
Experienced linebacker and special teams standout who appears to be fully recovered from a knee injury which cut his sophomore season short and limited his effectiveness as a junior. Has played in 10 games as a senior, recording six total tackles.



(Jeffersonville, IN)

Jason Hilliard (ITV)
Provided depth on the offensive front while continuing to be a mainstay on the field goal and extra-point units. After redshirting his freshman season, he has logged action along the Cardinal frontline each season since.




D.J. Kamer (ITV)
Hard-working, former walk-on who broke into the running back rotation as a junior. Earned the starting fullback postition during spring practice. Has pulled in two receptions as a senior, both for touchdowns, including one at rival Kentucky. Continues to provide excellent blocking for the Cardinal backs.



(Columbus, OH)

Dan Koons (ITV)
Battle-tested veteran center who enters his third season as a starter. He was the No. 15th-ranked center in the nation by The Sporting News prior to his senior season. He has now started 31 straight games.



(Gainesville, FL)

Scott Lopez (ITV)
Earned the starting defensive tackle spot during his sophomore season. Has recorded 49 career tackles, including 4.5 sacks and nine tackles for a loss. Notched a safety with his second career sack in the first quarter at Duke as a junior.



(Willingboro, NJ)

Josh Minkins (ITV)
Senior leader in the Cardinal secondary. Has started in 34 career games, logging four career interceptions. Also has 155 career tackles. Logged a career-high 14 tackles, including 11 solo stops and his lone sack of the season, in the Cards' dramatic overtime win over Florida State.



(Midleburg, FL)

Richard Owens (UofL)
Has played in 50 games during his career at both tight end and long snapper. Filled in for an injured Ronnie Ghent during his junior season, starting six games. Has pulled in 35 receptions for 364 yards and six touchdowns during his career. Was named to the All-Conference USA Freshman team.



(Florence, AL)

T.J. Patterson (ITV)
Has 258 career rushing attempts for 1,160 yards and 13 touchdowns. Was the Cardinals leading rusher with 576 yards and seven touchdowns as a sophomore. Was an all-Alabama 5A honorable mention selection by the Alabama Sportswriters Association.




Chad Pinkston (UofL)
Has logged action on both sides of the ball, playing at the offensive tackle and defensive tackle positions. He is now a mainstay along the Cardinals offensive line. As a sophomore he saw action in seven games before being hobbled by a back injury. Recorded his first career sack against New Mexico State.




Nate Smith (ITV)
Very consistant kicker who has connected on 44 of 62 career fieldgoals, with a long of 52-yards. earned C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week honors after making two field goal (45 & 26) in a driving rainstorm in the Cards' dramatic 26-20 overtime victory over No. 4 Florida State. Booted a school record-tying 52-yard field goal in the Cards' double-overtime victory at Southern Miss in front of a national audience.


(Eagle Springs, NC)

Jerry Spencer (ITV)
Came to Louisville after spending two seasons at East Central Community College where he was named a NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American. Has started multiple games along the Cardinal offensive line.




Wade Tydlacka (ITV)
Has handled the punting duties, as well as often being responsible for the kickoffs since the 2000 season. He has 98 career punts, with an average of 38.8 yards per attempt. Was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team.



(Lexington, KY)

Jason Weathers (UofL)
Has seen frequent action as a reserve along the Louisville offensive line at the tackle position. Has also been a mainstay for the Cardinals placekicking unit. Was a second-team all-Kentucky selection by the Louisville Courier-Journal following his senior season.
