ITV Recruiting Blitz

With recruiting heating up, Inside theVille will continue to keep it covered as you have come to expect. In addition to the latest commitment by LB Johnnie Burns, ITV brings you up to speed on a number of recruits in this first edition of the ITV Recruiting Blitz.

Johnnie Burns
In case you missed it, Inside theVille was the only source on linebacker Johnnie Burns commitment on Monday night. Burns committed to Louisville over offers from Florida State, Southern Miss, Iowa and others. Click here for the original article.

Drew Steinmetz
Another highly regarded prospect that ITV introduced on Wednesday. An imposing fullback, Steinmetz told ITV that Louisville, who extended an offer on Tuesday, leads Auburn, Florida and Iowa for his services.

David Holbert
A top 50 fullback, Holbert is being sought by some of the top programs in the country. He has scheduled visits to Florida, LSU and Tennessee. He informed ITV on Tuesday that the Cardinals are among his top six and will most likely receive a visit.

Levonte Barber
Barber is rated among the top 100 running backs in the country. He currently holds offers from South Carolina, Wake Forest and North Carolina, recently named his top three, which includes Louisville, as well as South Carolina and Wake Forest.

Sam Carson
A Midwest Hot 100 selection, Carson was recently named 1st Team All-State. He currently holds offers from all in his top five, which includes Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Northern Illinois and Northwestern.

Marty Biagi
One of the top high school kickers in the country, Biagi informed ITV on Monday that he will make official visits to Illinois, Air Force and Louisville.

Kevin Patterson
Patterson informed on Tuesday that he has scheduled four official visits. Projected as a cornerback in college, Patterson, who has 4.53 speed, will trip to Louisville January 23rd.

David Lonie
Regarded as the best kicker/punter in the country, Lonie discussed his recruiting Monday on Inside theVille Radio. He informed listeners that Louisville is in his final three, along with Cal and Michigan.

Jeremy Lomax
A Georgia Hot 100 selection, Lomax named Georgia as his leader, but has the Cardinals in his top five and will make an official visit in December. At 6'6, 210-pounds, Lomax is rated as one of Georgia's top defensive ends.

Drew Davis
At 6'6, 270-pounds, Davis is the type of offensive lineman that most colleges seek. He recently added an offer from Alabama to go along with offers from Louisville, Mississippi State and Troy State. He'll make an official visit to Louisville in January.
