Tennessee RB to visit Louisville

Memphis Melrose's Joseph Doss has scheduled his official visits and will make a trip to Louisville.

Running back Joseph Doss of Memphis Melrose (Tn) helped lead his team to an 11-2 record, while rushing for 1100 yds and 21 TDs.

Joseph recently gained an offer from South Carolina and says the Gamecocks are his top choice. "I like the SEC. It's great football and they have a great head coach," said Doss.

"It's also in a nice location and I like the east coast. It's a nice environment."

He says South Carolina has a slight edge over Memphis, Louisville, Kentucky and Tennessee. All have offered except Tennessee.

Joseph's first trip will be to Louisville on 1/9 and says the Cardinals are recruiting him the hardest.

He then visits the hometown Memphis Tigers on 1/16. "It's home and I feel comfortable there. I know if I ever needed anything I'd have people to take care of me. Also they just won their bowl game this year and that was their first one in 32 years."

The last trip he has set up so far is to Kentucky on 1/23 and the coaches were at his house on 12/17. "They said I'd have a great opportunity to play early, especially on special teams. They have a SR that will be leaving and will need someone to returns kicks and punts."

Joseph says he plans to decide after all his visits.
