Sebastian Telfair Unplugged

Sebastian Telfair speaks about a wide range of issues, including his college intentions, Louisville and his injured right ankle.

Telfair on the city of Louisville....
I love it. One of the biggest things playing basketball is the fans. And there's a lot of fans that are going to come out and watch me and Terrance play. So I'm really excited about that and appreciate it and thank all the fans for coming to watch us play.

Telfair on the recovery of his right ankle...
My ankle is good. I wouldn't say it's one humdred percent but it's well enough to perform.

Telfair on what the season has been like with all the travel and media attention...
It's been great. We're having a lot of fum travelling around the country together as a team. It's the first opportunity for a lot of them to travel like this. It's just been great and I hope it continues.

Tefair on how the game in Louisville came about...
It was both Coach Morton and my idea. More his idea. He brought it to the table and wanted the fans of Louisville to get a chance to see me play and show them what's coming to the city next year. And I'm grateful to be playing in this game. A lot of people will get to see me play instead of just reading about me.

Telfair on what he needs to improve upon...
I always want to work on everything. In high level basketball you definitely want to work on the mental part of the game. And I'm sure Rick Pitino can help me out alot with the mental part of the game. And that's why I'm at Louisville.

Telfair on the amount of fan mail he receives from Louisville...
I get a lot of mail from Louisville. And Coach Willard who recruited me and all the fans from Louisville is something I really want to play around.

Telfair on the best part of his game...
The best part of my game is passing the ball and getting my teammates involved in the game.

Telfair on the ascendancy of Louisville...
Like Lebron said, if he was going to go to college Louisville was one of his top picks. So Louisville's definitely the place to be.
