And while Brohm has indicated he probably won't have in-state schools Louisville and Kentucky in home this week, you can rest assurred they'll be in contact. In fact, brothers Jeff and Greg were in the stands to watch him score 14 points Monday evening in a last second upset loss to Louisville Fern Creek in the LIT.
And then there's Nebraska, the late comer to the dance who's tried to contact the 6'2 star quarterback but haven't spoken with him yet. Do the Cornhuskers have a realistic chance to get involved with Brohm's recruitment?
"I'd talk to him and see what he has to say," Brohm said of new Nebraska head coach Bill Callahan. "But right now I'm down to the same four schools I've been down to in Notre Dame, Kentucky, Louisville, and Tennessee."
And how about Illinois? Will Brohm trip to Champaign this weekend for an official visit?
"Oh, I'm not sure," Brohm responded when asked if he'd take an official visit to Illinois. "I'll still have to talk about it."
So that's where things stand. He's made official visits to Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky and Notre Dame. He's still mulling a trip to Illinois and hasn't spoken with Nebraska.
So when does Brohm finally ended the suspense and announce his decision?
"Probably within the next week," Brohm said.
