"I've become aware of speculation and rumor regarding my future at the University of Louisville, I want to put an end to these rumors. When I signed my letter of intent last year, my goal was to play football and graduate as a Louisville Cardinal. Nothing has happened to change my goals. With the move to the Big East Conference, the future of the program is bright and I want to be a part of it. We have all the pieces in place to compete with the best teams in college, and I look forward to competing for conference championships and someday competing for a national title. My family and I will not comment any further on this matter."
