Brohm No.1 In SchoolSports Top 100

Louisville signee Brian Brohm finishes atop the StudentSports.com Top 100 list.

With National Signing Day over, SchoolSports.com has unveiled its final ranking of the nation's Top 100 football recruits in the Class of 2004. Headlining the list is mega-talented Louisville-bound quarterback Brian Brohm out of Trinity High (Ky.). The 6-4, 202-pound signal caller began the year at the top of the SchoolSports rankings on the heels of a remarkable junior campaign (threw for 3,777 yards, 47 touchdowns and only one interception, and led Trinity to second straight state title). And Brohm only improved his credentials from there, throwing for 3,720 yards and 33 touchdowns as a senior.

While there is little doubt as to Brohm's status amongst the best players in the Class of 2004, just how high he ranks among that group continues to be the subject of wide and varying views by recruiting experts. While SchoolSports has ranked Brohm at the top all year long, others have him further down the list, including TheInsiders.com, which places Brohm at No. 32.
