6'2 Chris Lofton
of Mason County (KY) High School made a visit to Freedom Hall Wednesday night for the Louisville
- DePaul game.
According to Inside The Ville's John Carey, who was courtside last night, Lofton was in attendance with Mason County Head Coach Kelly Wells and several members of his family, including his father.
Several schools are interested the state's top senior prospect, who also was an All-State wide receiver this season in football, including Arkansas, Notre Dame, Cincinnati, and Georgia.
Lofton, who won't entertain notions of playing football in college, has been on Louisville's radar for more than a year.
It remains to be seen how Lofton's recruitment will play out in the coming weeks and whether or not U of L's Rick Pitino will extend a scholarship to the talented shooter during the spring signing period that begins in April.
