As we reported yesterday, Pitino was scheduled to visit with the talented forward prospect later this week.
The reason for the postponement isn't known, nor is it known if the visit will be rescheduled at this point.
This move by Pitino does bring up several questions. For instance, does Pitino feel comfortable about landing someone else this spring from the class of 2004? Does Pitino beleive one of the talented junior frontcourt prospects he's currently recruiting, like Chad Millard or Jamal Boykin, could be ready to commit to his program? Or has the Louisville head coach some indication that some player, likely a frontcourt prospect, has interest in transferring from another four-year school?
All those reasons seem plausible or there certainly could be a relatively simple and innocent explanation.
