According to Telep's sources, Telfair will declare his intentions to enter the 2004 NBA Draft. He's also expected to sign a lucrative endorsement deal with shoe giant adidas. Reports earlier this week indicated that the financial impact of the deal for Telfair could be in the 10-20 million dollar range.
A McDonald's All-American, Telfair would become the first player under 6-foot-5 to declare for the draft directly out of high school.
He averaged 31 points per game for Brooklyn Lincoln High School as a senior, leading the Railsplitters to a third consectuive PSAL city title.
