"Three" for Millard

BLOOMINGTON, IN - 6'8 Chad Millard shot the lights out on Saturday at the adidas May Classic and says his recruitment is now focused on three schools.

6'8 Chad Millard, a forward for Blessed IJN, had his stroke going from downtown Saturday at the adidas May Classic in Bloomington, Indiana.

In the days first two games, which his team split, Millard nailed seven three pointers, including four triples in a close win against Cleveland Basketball Club. Millard scored 15 points in both of the days first two games.

Off the court, Millard also appears to favor the number three, listing two Big East programs and one ACC school as his favorites.

"My top three would be Louisville, N.C. State and Providence," Millard said. "That's not closed, though."

Millard, who finishes school June 12, said he intends to make a visit to one of his three favorites later this month.

"I'm flying down to N.C. State the day before Bob Gibbons [Tournament of Champions] for a visit," Millard said.

As for Louisville, Millard remains highly interested in playing for Rick Pitino.

"Of course I still have high interest in Louisville," Millard explained. "I like Rick Pitino and how they play."

Millard said he has no visits scheduled at this point to either Providence or Louisville and said that he'd like to take those trips when more students and activity were happening on the campus.

"Before I started playing with Blessed IJN I thought I wanted to make a decision before the end of the summer," MIllard explained. "But I've been playing and travelling with my AAU team almost every weekend and that hasn't given me a good chance to visit any schools. I'm really not in ay rush right now."
