6'6 Johnson won't visit U of L this weekend

Los Angeles forward Marcus Johnson explains why a planned visit to the University of Louisville this weekend has been post-poned.

6-foot-6 small forward Marcus Johnson from Los Angeles Westchester High told Inside The Ville at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions that he'd likely make an official visit to the University of Louisville this weekend.

However, Johnson said Thursday night that the visit to Louisville has been post-poned because his SAT score, which he took last Saturday, hasn't been posted yet.

"I think I did decent on the test," Johnson said. "Hopefully, I did well enough the first time that I won't have to take the test again."

Johnson said he's just been working out since the Memorial Day tournament in North Carolina and indicated that he still plans to make a visit to U of L in the future.

"I'm going to call Coach Theus when I get my test scores back and set something up," Johnson explained.

Johnson, who listed Syracuse and Louisville as his top two schools at the TOC ahead of Arizona and UCONN, also indicated that nothing's changed in his recruitment during the past two weeks.

"Everything is pretty much the same recruiting-wise since Bob Gibbons," Johnson said.
