"I'm going to the University of Louisville," McGee told Inside The Ville. "I felt comfortable at Louisville with everything and I feel it's the best situation for me. I think I can make a big impact on the team."
McGee, considered one of the nation's top guard prospects and ranked No. 35 nationally by TheInsiders.com, said the family atmosphere at U of L was a major factor in his decision.
"I really enjoyed my visit to Louisville and was very impressed by the comraderie that exists between the players and coaches," McGee explained. "Coach Pitino is very hands on with his teaching and that's important to me because I want to become a better player."
McGee becomes U of L's third commitment from the class of 2005, joining 7-1 center Clarence Holloway from Chicago and 6-7 forward Lamar Roberson from Los Angeles. The Cardinals also added Kansas University transfer David Padgett on Saturday.
