Williams back from KU, says he's in no hurry

Terrence Williams, who made an official visit to the University of Louisville last weekend, just returned from his final official visit to Kansas and says he's not in a rush to make a decision.

Seattle's Terrence Williams has been busy for the past couple weeks.

During that time, he's made three official visits to Indiana, Louisville and Kansas. After visiting U of L last weekend, Williams headed to Lawrence earlier this week and returned Thursday evening from Jayhawk land.

"It went good," Williams, who said he had a firm scholarship offer from the Jayhawks, said of his visit to Kansas.

While at KU this week, Williams' high school coach, Mike Bethea of Rainier Beach, told Brian Hanni of Phog.net that his standouts decision would come down to a choice between the Cardinals and Jayhawks.

"Louisville has a good campus and a great coaching staff," Williams explained. "I really can't compare Kansas and Louisville right now because I haven't had a chance to sit down and think about both schools."

Asked if he were leaning one way or the other, Williams said, "I'm not leaning anywhere right now."

Prior to his visit to Kansas, both Bethea and Williams had indicated that a decision would most probably be forthcoming within the next week. However, Williams said Thursday night that he's in no hurry to decide and indicated that he probably wouldn't reach a decision that quickly.

"I don't want to rush anything right now," Williams said. "Both schools fit my style of play and I want to take my time before making a decision."
