U of L Announces Dates for Memphis and TCU

The final dates for the University of Louisville 2004 football schedule have been announced.

The 2004 University of Louisville football schedule has been finalized as ESPN announced the dates of the Memphis and TCU games on Friday.

The Cardinals will travel to the Liberty Bowl on Thursday, November 4 to take on Memphis in a nationally-televised game on ESPN with the network's top broadcasting crew of Kirk Herbstreit, Mike Tirico and former Cardinal head coach Lee Corso. U of L will look to avenge last season's 37-7 loss to Tigers at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

Louisville will get just six days off to prepare for TCU at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on Wednesday, November 10 on ESPN2. The Cardinals dropped a heart-breaking 31-28 decision to the Horned Frogs in Fort Worth last season.

Game times have not been decided by ESPN and will be announced when the network finalizes its broadcast schedule.

The Cardinals report to campus on Sunday, August 8, and will begin practice on Monday, August 9.
