Cards to face Ky Wesleyan in basketball exhibition

The University of Louisville basketball program will play Kentucky Wesleyan in an exhibition on November 3rd in Freedom Hall.

With the NCAA's decision to no longer allow exhibitions against teams such as EA Sports and Athletes In Action, the University of Louisville turned to a Division II program in the Bluegrass State to help it warm up for the 2004-05 season.

The Cardinals will host the Panthers of Kentucky Wesleyan on November 3rd in Freedom Hall.

It will mark the first meeting between the two programs since January 5th, 1983, when U of L defeated KWC 79-58.

The two schools have met 69 times, dating back to 1919. Louisville holds an all-time record of 51-18 against Kentucky Wesleyan.

Kentucky Wesleyan is the all-time winningest programs in Div. II with an all-time record is 1,400-689-1 in 93 seasons.
