Expected visit on hold?

Los Angeles swingman Marcus Johnson, regarded as one of the nation's top 50 prospects, told TheInsiders last week that he would visit Louisville this weekend. But will that visit materialize?

At the Reebok Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas late last month, 6-foot-5 Marcus Johnson told TheInsiders.com's Jeff Goodman that he would visit the University of Louisville this weekend.

However, sources close to the athletic prospect are now indicating that Johnson won't be visiting any college campus this weekend. In fact, Johnson's AAU coach, Pat Barrett, told Inside The Ville yesterday that he wasn't aware of any such trip.

Instead, Johnson is working at a basketball camp this week on the west coast, and, according to those close to him won't be taking phone calls while he's working the camp.

Furthermore, Inside The Ville has also learned that Johnson intends to participate in a shooting camp in Philadelphia later this month and that he'll probably try to work in visits to Louisville, Syracuse and Connecticut while on the east coast.

Stay tuned right here for the latest developments in Marcus Johnson's recruitment!
