And though he hasn't scheduled any official campus visits just yet, he's got a few tentative dates in mind.
Harvey said Thursday afternoon that he'll probably visit Arizona State on either September 10 or 17, has tentative plans to visit Louisville September 24, and might trip to Kansas for Midnight Madness. The 6-4, 190 shooting guard also mentioned that visits to Connecticut and Miami remained possibilities.
"I'd like to go to a school somewhere that I could live after I finish playing basketball," Harvey said. "Of course, playing time is important and I want to find a coach that can hopefully develop me for the next level."
One of the top players in California this season, Harvey said no leader has emerged in his recruitment yet and claims the five schools being mentioned for official visits are recruiting him with equal fervor.
"All of those schools that I'm considering making a visit are really interested and pushing hard for me equally," Harvey said.
