NJ star TE/OL Corey Wooten favors two

6'7, 285-pound Corey Wooten of Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, New Jersey is receiving plenty of interest from recruiters but appears to have narrowed his list to two favorites.

Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep offensive lineman Corey Wooten has a huge frame and could stick with the offensive line or a dominating tight end. Teams certainly know about his talent and two have offered.

"It's going pretty good, getting a lot of calls," says the 6-foot-7, 255 pounder who is hearing from "Boston College, UConn, Maryland, Indiana, Louisville, Pittsburgh, NC State, and South Carolina."

Both Louisville and Indiana have offered, along with New Hampshire, but two schools stand out from the rest.

"I really like Louisville and Boston College. I visited Boston College and I really like the campus and coaches. With Lousiville I met most of their coaches, I talk to all of them, and a really good program."

Former Don Bosco talents are already at Boston College, but Louisville has a key player already committed in Darius Mann.

"It will affect me somewhat because he is one of my good friends, and it would be good to go to school with someone you know."

Wooten will continue to help his team throughout the year, but they must keep focused after a big 42-21 victory over powerhouse Bergen Catholic.
