Cards Land Another! Harvey Commits!

Rick Pitino has his shooter. Bryan Harvey committed to the University of Louisville and Rick Pitino on Sunday, joining a class that also includes Amir Johnson, Andre McGee, Jonathan Huffman, Terrence Williams, Chad Millard and Clarence Holloway. Kansas transfer David Padgett will also begin play at Louisville for the 2005 season.

"I committed while I was there," Harvey said. "Coach Pitino was real excited that I was joining the family."

The addition of Harvey gives Louisville one of the deepest and most talented classes in recent history.

"[Coach Pitino] told me that if I committed that it would make this the best class in the history of Louisville," Harvey said.

The 4-star prospect, who recently made an unofficial visit to Arizona State and was scheduled to visit Kansas for thier midnight madness, is glad the process is over.

"I'm excited about making my decision," Harvey explained. "It feels good, but at the same time I feel relieved."
