Heyman talks about favorites

Earl Heyman is one of the best defenders in the state of Kentucky and he has already garnered offers from the states two biggest football institutions. Who else is showing interest in Heyman, and whom is he considering right now?

"I'm looking at Clemson, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska and Notre Dame. Kentucky and Louisville are the only offers I have so far," Earl Heyman said.

What stands out about each of those schools?

Clemson: "Coach Tommy Bowden is a good man. I've seen them on TV and they are really trying to do big things there."

Kentucky: "Coach Archer and the whole staff there is really good. I like all of them."

Louisville: "That's my hometown backyard right there. They're also doing big things with the way they're playing and the move to the Big East."

Nebraska: "Coach Callahan is one of the best coaches anywhere."

Notre Dame: "I like Coach Maddox. They also have top of the line academics."

Which games have the Bluegrass native been to so far and which ones are he planning to attend?

"I've been to the Kentucky game against Indiana, and the Louisville game against Kentucky. I'll probably catch the Miami vs. Louisville game and the Notre Dame vs. USC game as well. I'm trying to see if I can go to one at Clemson too."

Heyman is claiming some big time stats so far this season.

"Were 4-2 right now. I have eight sacks total on the year. I know in one game alone though, I had 25 tackles and 11 of them for a loss."
