Brandon Logan expected Cards strong play

4-star linebacker prospect Brandon Logan expected the Cardinals to play well against Miami.

Since falling to St. X in week two, Lexington Catholic has become one of the top programs in the state and is among the favorites for the Class AAA crown later this year. One of the players playing a large role in Catholic's race to a 7-1 record is linebacker Brandon Logan.

Logan, who sat out of action last weekend against Bourbon County while nursing a sore hamstring, is one of the top prospects in the Bluegrass State.

The 4-star prospect currently lists six teams as favorites, listing Clemson, Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan and Tennessee.

"It's still the same," Logan told on Sunday. "They are all even right now."

While all may currently be even, Louisville's near win at Miami last Thursday had to have helped the Cardinals chances of landing the 6-foot-1, 215-pound linebacker.

"It was an exciting game," Logan said of the Cardinals 41-38 last minute loss to Miami. "I knew that they could play with them. It definately makes me think of [Louisville] more."

Logan currently has no official visits scheduled, but has been in discussion with coaches from Clemson about taking a trip there.
