Record Season Continues
The University of Louisville women's soccer team battled Charlotte to a scoreless tie on Friday night in Cardinal Park, extending the team record to 11 shutouts on the season. The Cards (11-3-2, 5-1-2) have allowed just two goals in eight conference games this season.

The Cardinals are currently in second place in C-USA with two games remaining, behind Saint Louis who has clinched at least a tie for the league title.

Louisville will host East Carolina on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in Cardinal Park in a match that will be televised on a tape-delayed basis on INSIGHT-2.

Sure Sell-Out!
University of Louisville men's basketball coach Rick Pitino will provide a preseason look at the 2004-05 Cardinals when his team plays a Red-White intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. at Cardinal Arena.

Tickets for the event are $6 each and will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. at both U of L Ticket Offices, located near Gate 2 of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium or on the third floor of the Swain Student Activities Center. There will be no telephone orders for this event.

Women's Hoops Season Tickets Available
The University of Louisville women's basketball schedule features 18 of 27 games against teams that participated in postseason play last season. The Cardinals will tip off its home schedule with a Dec. 5 matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats in Freedom Hall.

Nationally Ranked
The volleyball team continues to keep its presence in the USA TODAY/CSTV Top 25 Coaches Poll, holding at No. 21 in the last release.

U of L volleyball will host the 2004 C-USA Tournament Nov. 19-22 in Cardinal Arena.

Louisville has been selected as the site of the 2004 Volleyball South Region by the Division I Women's Volleyball Committee. The University of Louisville will act as hosts for the event which will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center.

The volleyball committee selected four regional sites: the KICC in Louisville, the Sports Pavilion in Minneapois; Bank America Arena in Seattle and the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The regionals will be held Dec. 9-10 or 11-12.
