Cards climb four spots in BCS poll to No. 10

The University of Louisville climbed four spots in this weeks BCS standings, up from No. 14 to No. 10.

The University of Louisville climbed four spots in this week BCS standings from No. 14 to No. 10.

The ranking, which is the highest in school history, helped Louisville (7-1, 5-0) move ahead of traditional powers Georgia, Miami and Wisconsin in the BCS standing this week.

Additionally, two teams from Louisville's future conference, the Big East, find themselves ranked in the BCS TOp 25 standings this week. Boston College checks in at No. 21 following their win over No. 23 West Virginia last weekend. However, Boston College will leave the Big East following this season for the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Louisville will travel to Houston (3-7, 3-4) this Saturday.
