NJ safety says U of L "stands out" above rest

New Jersey safety prospect Jeff Green currently holds four scholarship offers but the hard hitting defensive back says that the University of Louisville "stands out" above the rest.

Deptford (N.J.) Township safety Jeff Green is starting to gain interest as teams find out about his potential, and four schools have offered.

"I like Louisville, Minnesota, Marshall, and I just got an offer from Toledo. I have four offers, from Toledo, Northeastern, Louisville, and Minnesota," says the 6-foot-3, 180 pounder. "Louisville stands out, I just like their program; they're doing good this year, and they are going to the Big East."

Green says he has to still set up a visit to visit Louisville, while Toledo and Marshall are trying to get Green to do the same. They will have to wait a little longer.

"We are in the semifinals and 9-1. I have forty tackles, one interception, fifteen receptions for 400 yards, and one touchdown. Marshall wants me to play wide receiver, and the others want me to play DB. It don't really matter to me, just where I can get on the field first.

"I'm an aggressive player, trying to get to the ball. I like to go up in the air and makes plays on the ground, and I like to go over the middle or a fade."
