TE Careg Bonner favors two

Tight end Careg Bonner of Huntsville claims two teams at the top of his list and spoke to Scout.com's Allen Wallace about his favorites.

Huntsville (AL) TE Careg Bonner (6-3, 230, 4.8, two stars) says Louisville (12/18 official trip) and Tennessee (official trip unset) lead slightly over Auburn, Alabama and Mississippi St. All have offered as well as Kentucky and Clemson.

"These two teams are the two that I'm focusing on right now," says Bonner. "But they both lead slightly.

"Louisville holds the record right now for the most receptions by a TE in the NCAA. I like how they spread the ball around and put some points up on the board. My recruiting coach, (Reggie) Johnson (ILBs), is great. I like how he answers all of my questions truthfully.

"They also have a nice campus there. I like the young team they have too…they're making a name for that program. Plus that move they're making to the Big East is huge. And the close game they had with Miami some weeks ago, has people looking at them differently.

"I like how Tennessee put their TE Jason Witten into the League. They also have some youth there too. They had two FR as their starting QBs, Brent Schaeffer and Erik Ainge, before they got injured. I like how they have the biggest stadium in the South. And the way they play is great."
