The 4-star prospect committed to Rutgers in early July, but he recently made the decision to visit a few other schools before making a final decision.
"Right now I'm not officially decommitted," Roche told Inside the Ville. "I've just decided that I needed to shop myself around right now."
"Darius keeps telling me how nice of place it was when he went there earlier this year and obviously it's an all-around good program," said Roche. "They are having a great season."
Roche recently scheduled an official trip to Louisville for the weekend of December 17th and will join Mann, along with another teammate, lineman Corey Wootten and Bergen Catholic prospect Brian Cushing.
"It's a pretty cool thing to be able to go visit with those guys," Roche said. "I'm looking forward to seeing it for myself."
However, Louisville seemed to score some points with Roche, who claims over 40 scholarship offers, on Saturday prior to the Cardinals game against Cincinnati.
"Coach Wolthausen called me from the tunnel just before they were going to go out on the field for the game on Saturday," Roche explained. "That was pretty cool. I've also talked with Coach Petrino and the offensive line coach, Coach Summers. They are all good guys."
Roche did say however, that he intends to take all five of his official visits prior to making a final decision and will likely announce near signing day.
