CONFIRMED: Trenton Guy picks Louisville over UNC

UPDATE Inside The Ville confirms Trenton Guy's committment. Trenton Guy, one of the top receivers in North Carolina, verbally committed to the University of Louisville Tuesday night.

During his in-home visit last night with head coach Bob Petrino, athlete Trenton Guy of West Charlotte verbally committed to Louisville. Apparently, the Scout.com two-star prospect really liked the offensive system the Cardinals run.

"A lot of things, but basically the offensively philosophy," explained Guy's Coach Pete Gilchrist. "The philosophy of spreading the ball out and the opportunity to play in a three to four wide receiver sets."

"Trenton verbally committed to Coach Petrino last night," Guy's mother, Elaine Dui, told Inside The Ville Wednesday afternoon. "We were very impressed with what he had to say."

Coach Gilchrist feels Guy will still take all of his official visits, including this weekend's trip to Louisville and January 14th visit in Chapel Hill to see the Tar Heels.

"He is going on the official [visit] this weekend [to Louisville]," commented Gilchrist. "So he can answer any questions he has."
